McCullers was scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday due to arm fatigue, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Mike Fiers is slated to start the second game of the series in place of McCullers, who reported fatigue after playing catch Tuesday. Manager A.J. Hinch said he's not overly concerned about the issue, but the team will be conservative with the righty with the start of the postseason mere weeks away. McCullers just returned from a back injury last week after spending more than a month on the DL.
