Mengden (elbow) is part of the 60-man player pool that will report to the Athletics' summer camp, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander was recently declared to be fully healthy from his late-February arthroscopic elbow surgery, although he remains on the 60-day injured list for the moment. Mengden seemingly offers the type of versatility that would be especially coveted in a 2020 season that will have several unique aspects, and he'll have a chance to make his case for a spot on the expanded Opening Day roster over the three-plus weeks of summer camp.
