Athletics' Felix Doubront: Heads to minor league camp

Doubront (elbow) was reassigned to minor league camp Sunday.

The left-hander is still in the process of returning from Tommy John surgery, so while he's still unable to help out at the major league level, the A's will stash him in the minor leagues. If he returns to his previous form once healthy, Doubront could push for a spot in Oakland's rotation, but for now he'll simply focus on rehabbing his surgically repaired elbow.
