Cotton allowed one run on two hits and struck out six over six innings in a no-decision Monday against the Astros.

Cotton has been excellent in three starts since coming up to the big leagues, having allowed just three earned runs over 18 innings of work (1.50 ERA). And after striking out just five in his first two starts combined, Cotton set a career high with six strikeouts without walking a batter this time around. Cotton struck out 155 batters in just 135.2 innings in the minors, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he continues to rack up the strikeouts going forward.
