Athletics' Khris Davis: Mashes 18th homer against Yankees

Davis homered and knocked in a pair in a 2-for-4 game Sunday against the Yankees.

Davis rebounded from a four-strikeout night Saturday in a big way, as he mashed his first home run in 12 games. The blast turned out to be a game-winner, as it gave the Athletics a two-run lead that they would barely hold onto for the rest of the contest. Davis remains streaky, but the overall product has been solid this year: His batting line sits at .240/.320/.496, powered by 18 home runs.
