Romo fired a scoreless eighth inning in a win over the Angels on Thursday, issuing one walk.
Aside from a free pass to Shohei Ohtani, Romo exhibited his trademark sharpness. The veteran reliever sported an ugly 12.79 ERA through his first seven appearances this season, but he's bounced back to post a 1.69 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, 9.8 K/9, 0.3 HR/9 and six holds over the 32 innings covering his last 35 outings.
