Blue Jays' J.A. Happ: Strikes out nine in victory

Happ (2-4) dealt 6.2 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out nine in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Although his opponents haven't exactly been first-rate, Happ now has two straight quality-start victories while managing a 17:1 K:BB through 12.2 innings. Most importantly, the veteran lefty looks fully recovered from the elbow injury that sidelined him for more than a month. Happ will aim for three in a row when he toes the rubber in Kansas City on Friday.
