The Blue Jays included Petricka as part of their 60-man roster pool that was announced Sunday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Petricka had joined the Blue Jays for spring training as a non-roster invitee and was considered a longshot to break camp with the big club, but the expanded roster for the 60-game season will aid his chances of finding work out of the Toronto bullpen in 2020. The right-hander has seen action at the MLB level in each of the past seven seasons, accruing a 3.96 ERA and 7.7 K-BB% over 228 career appearances.
