Blue Jays' Marco Estrada: Allows six through just 3.2 innings

Estrada allowed six runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out four batters through 3.2 innings during Monday's win over Texas. He didn't factor into the decision.

Estrada has now allowed 23 runs through just 16.1 innings over his past four starts, and his ERA has ballooned from 3.15 all the way up to 4.98. Typically, when such struggles appear almost out of nowhere, the pitcher is either dealing with an injury or tipping his pitches. With that in mind, it isn't out of the question to bench Estrada until he turns it around. He lines up for a road start against the Royals next.
