Blue Jays' Matt Shoemaker: Shifted to 60-day IL

Shoemaker (knee) was transferred to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

The move made room on the 40-man roster for Wednesday's starter, Edwin Jackson. Shoemaker is out for the season with a torn ACL.
