Ray allowed one run on five hits, a walk and a hit batter while striking out a season-high 14 in seven innings versus the White Sox on Wednesday. He did not factor in the decision.

In what's become a recurring theme, Ray was excellent on the mound in his sixth straight quality start, but he's now left five consecutive starts with no decision. Wednesday was the seventh time the southpaw racked up double-digits in strikeouts, and he now has 192 through 25 starts this year. The 29-year-old owns a strong 2.72 ERA and 1.02 WHIP, but his record remains stuck at 9-5. He'll continue the search for an elusive 10th win at home versus lowly Baltimore next week.
