Chatwood (forearm) signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Blue Jays on Monday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Chatwood will head to Toronto after spending the last three seasons with the Cubs. He finished with an ERA above 5.00 in two of his last three seasons with Chicago, starting 25 contests over that stretch. Chatwood is expected to be used out of the bullpen while in Toronto, per Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca, but he can also be used as a starter if needed. The deal could reach $5.5 million based on incentives.
