Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Explodes onto scene in 2017

Guerrero wrapped up his first full-season campaign with a .323/.425/.485 slash line, 13 home runs, 76 RBI and 84 runs over 119 games combined at Low- and High-A.

The third baseman backed up the enormous hype, raking his way through both, the Midwest and Florida State League. Although there's no need to look farther than Guerrero's surface stats to see his potential, it's worth noting that the 18-year-old managed more walks (76) than strikeouts (62) -- displaying rare plate discipline for a youngster -- during the 2017 campaign. The Jays' front office has made clear that rushing Guerrero through the system is not part of the plan, but that may change. Look for the club's top prospect to jump into MiLB's higher levels in 2018, with the notion of an MLB debut in 2019 being more than possible.
