Blue Jays' Zach Stewart: Inks minor-league deal with Toronto

The Blue Jays signed Stewart to a minor-league contract Thursday.

Stewart, who last appeared in the big leagues in 2012, most recently pitched for the New Britain Bees of the independent Atlantic League. The 31-year-old has some previous history with the Blue Jays organization and will likely just act as a depth arm in the upper levels of the minors.
