Single-A Augusta placed Fuentes on its 7-day injured list Tuesday due to an unspecified injury.
The extent of Fuentes' injury isn't known, but even a minor issue could keep him on the shelf for the remainder of the season at this point in the calendar. The 19-year-old right-hander has made 17 appearances (16 starts) for Augusta this season, logging a 2.85 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 94:21 K:BB across 72.2 innings.
