Chacin agreed to minor league contract with the Braves on Monday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.

Chacin has worked as a starter for most of his career, so he figures to compete for a rotation spot with the Braves. He did post a 3.38 ERA in five games, including four starts, with the Diamondbacks last season, but he started just 15 big league games in all the last two years, so he will really need to impress to come away with a starting job.
