Cabrera (elbow) will throw a bullpen session Monday and likely won't need a long rehab stint, 680 The Fan's Kevin McAlpin reports.

He has played catch twice without issue and it sounds like a rehab assignment could be right around the corner. If everything goes as planned, he should be back pitching in the later innings out of the Braves' bullpen before the end of April. If Jim Johnson struggles or gets traded at some point this season, Cabrera would be a logical choice to get some high-leverage work.
