Brewers' Corey Knebel: Works around walk to collect second save

Knebel struck out a pair to pick up his second save of the season Wednesday against the Padres.

Things started off rather inauspiciously, with the young reliever walking the leadoff batter on five pitches, but he settled down after that, getting Erick Aybar to fly out and both Hunter Renfroe and Allen Cordoba to whiff. Although manager Craig Counsell isn't officially naming Knebel his closer, he has been the only one used in save situations since the demotion of Neftali Feliz, and Knebel's 0.86 ERA and 15.0 K/9 certainly make a sound case for him to stick in the role.
