Brewers' Corey Ray: OPS at .704 after a month of action
Ray is hitting .250/.333/.370 with 11 doubles, 15 RBI, and eight steals through 26 games with High-A Carolina.
Ray missed just over a week of action early this season while recovering from a knee injury, but he has played nearly every day since his April 16 debut. He has not homered, but he is producing in other categories, and his OPS sits at .704 after reaching base five times in Carolina's May 16 contest. Ray is one of the most highly regarded prospects both in the Brewers' system and all of MLB, but he is taking part in his his first full professional season in 2017, so don't expect much advancement in level, if any, this year.
