Sogard isn't in the lineup for Monday's game against the Pirates.
Sogard went 1-for-10 with one RBI, one run and two walks over the team's three-game series against the Cubs, and he'll get a day off with a lefty (Steven Brault) serving as the Pirates' starter. Jedd Gyorko will start at third base Monday, batting fifth.
