Brewers' Jonathan Villar: Villar Homers On Opening Day
Villar launched a solo home run and drew a walk batting out of the two-hole Monday afternoon against the Giants.
While Brewer fans are anxious to see Orlando Arcia take over at shortstop, Villar made a statement as the starter on Opening Day. After hitting .284 with seven steals in 53 games as an Astro last season, the 24-year-old will need to sustain that sort of success to keep Milwaukee's top prospect in the minors.
