Pina is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Predictably, Pina has lost out on playing time since No. 1 catcher Omar Narvaez was reinstated from the 10-day injured list May 13. Pina will be on the bench Wednesday for the third time in four games.
