Barrios (shoulder) said that he was "at least two months away from completing his rehab" back in mid-February, Brian Bergner of the Associated Press reports.
Although this timetable means that he likely won't be ready for the start of the regular season, the 25-year-old doesn't appear to have experienced any setbacks in his recovery process. Barrios will likely be sent down to minor league camp soon, where he'll continue ramping up his activity in preparation for his 2017 debut.
