Barrios (shoulder) will undergo rotator cuff surgery Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old righty was placed on the 60-day disabled list Sunday due to a serious shoulder injury. After getting a second opinion from noted sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews, the decision was made to have Barrios undergo rotator cuff surgery. There is no timetable for his return at this point, but he'll likely miss at least the majority of the season.
