Walden (shoulder) didn't pitch in Saturday's Grapefruit League loss to the Nationals, MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch reports.
Walden continues to be bothered by soreness near his throwing shoulder, which has prevented him from pitching since Monday. The Cardinals wanted Walden to pitch in games on consecutive days during spring training before heading into the regular season, but with only five contests left on the schedule, the right-hander may come into Opening Day less than 100 percent healthy.
