Cardinals' Kolten Wong: Removed with back tightness
Wong was taken out of Friday's game against the Cubs due to lower back tightness.
This has been a lingering issue for Wong, as the second baseman wound up missing five games earlier this month due to a back problem. Although this doesn't seem like anything worse than before, the club may be forced to keep him sidelined for a few days if he re-aggravated the issue to a certain point. Consider him day-to-day for now, but Greg Garcia could be in line for some extra time on the field in the event that Wong needs a couple days off.
