Garcia, who secured his third hold in an extra-inning win over the Tigers on Wednesday, has now pitched 16.1 consecutive scoreless innings during which he boasts a win, two holds and a 16:1 K:BB.

It's quite the turnaround for the 34-year-old, who began his Cardinals tenure by yielding six earned runs over his first three appearances. Garcia's scoreless streak stretches back to July 28 and features five appearances of more than one inning.
