Cardinals' Tyler O'Neill: Activated, optioned to Triple-A
O'Neill (hamstring) was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.
O'Neill has bounced between Triple-A and the majors this season, hitting .227/.255/.455 with three homers in 19 games with St. Louis. He'll likely receive more opportunities in the second half, but it could take an injury or two for him to earn a starting role.
