Cubs general manager Jed Hoyer said Monday that Wieck (chest) will be "ready to go" when the team begins its "summer camp" this week, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Wieck appears to have made a full recovery from the emergency procedure he required in February to address an irregular heartbeat. The bullpen stands out as one of the Cubs' greatest weaknesses heading into the upcoming season, so Wieck could end up handling a notable role despite his struggles to limit walks (3.4 BB/9) and home runs (2.1 HR/9) over his 44 relief appearances in 2019.
