Schwindel went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Monday's loss to the Reds.
The Cubs left Schwindel in the No. 2 spot in the order for the fourth straight contest and he kept on hitting. The 29-year-old is riding a five-game hitting streak and has hits in 13 of his last 14 games overall. Schwindel should stick near the top of the batting order for however long he can keep this level of production going.
