Hendricks (7-5) allowed one run on six hits and one walk while striking out five across 7.2 innings to earn the win Saturday against the Cardinals.

Hendricks was firing a shutout until giving up a solo homer to Matt Carpenter in the eighth inning, while the offense gave him enough support to help him earn his seventh victory of the season. He's held opponents to three or fewer earned runs in every start he's made since July 24, and he continues to be a strong fantasy producer. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Brewers.
