Rosario fired a perfect 10th inning, striking out one and earning his first save in Thursday's 4-3 win against the Nationals.
It was just Rosario's second save opportunity this season after he blew the first one in June. Pedro Strop (hamstring) left Thursday's contest with a possible injury, but Rosario would still be pretty far down the list of replacement closers.
