Cubs' Tommy La Stella: Dealing with minor leg issue
La Stella has been hampered by a minor leg injury, according to manager Joe Maddon, Jesse Rogers of ESPNChicago.com reports.
La Stella came into Friday's game as pinch hitter, but was immediately taken out after getting on base, prompting Maddon to explain the situation following the conclusion of Chicago's contest. Although La Stella is dealing with this setback, he will continue to occupy a bench role once he's fully recovered, especially with Addison Russell (foot) on track to be back by the end of this weekend.
