Peralta (glute) went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk and two RBI in Friday's 10-1 win over the Padres.

Peralta rejoined the lineup and manned right field after having been limited to a pinch-hitting role in each of the previous three games due to right glute tightness. He had failed to record a hit in all three of his at-bats coming off the bench, but didn't take long to get back on track upon reentering the starting nine. After making the first out of the game on a pop fly, Peralta delivered an RBI single in his second at-bat of what was an eight-run first inning for the Diamondbacks. He would later hit a solo shot off reliever Craig Stammen -- his fourth of the season -- to bring his average up to .300 for the campaign.
