Rodriguez (shoulder) and the Diamondbacks won't face the Guardians on Tuesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather in Cleveland.
Tuesday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Wednesday, and Rodriguez will get the starting nod in the nightcap, per Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com. The 31-year-old was activated from the 60-day injured list prior to Tuesday's postponement and will be making his 2024 and Diamondbacks debuts Wednesday now that he's made a full recovery from a left shoulder strain. He'll likely be working under some sort of workload restriction Wednesday after building up to four innings and around 65 pitches in simulated games prior to being activated.
