Godley is expected to start Thursday in the Diamondbacks' series finale with the Rockies at Coors Field, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

The Diamondbacks' schedule heading into the upcoming week had Godley in line to skip out on the Coors start and instead take the hill Friday for a home matchup with the Phillies. However, those plans were altered after manager Torey Lovullo elected to bump Patrick Corbin off the Thursday start due to the lefty's prior struggles in Colorado the last two seasons. Godley's superior groundball rate makes him a better candidate than Corbin to find success at altitude, but hurlers of higher repute than Godley have failed to master pitching at Coors. The 27-year-old looks like a dicey lineup option this week.
