Liberatore (elbow) began his rehab assignment at High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.

Liberatore has been out since July 29 with an enflamed elbow, however, it appears that the middle reliever is on track to rejoin the Dodgers by the end of the week. He had been enjoying a dominant season before getting injured, boasting a career-best 1.62 ERA and 0.99 WHIP over 33.1 innings.
