Manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Pollock (hamstring) is expected to play in simulated games this weekend before reporting to the Dodgers' spring training facility to play in rehab games, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

The 33-year-old has apparently progressed well in his recovery since landing on the injured list Sept. 5 with a strained right hamstring. Pollock could return from the injured list late next week if all goes well during the simulated games and subsequent work at the spring training complex.
