Dodgers' Max Scherzer: Plays catch Saturday

Scherzer (arm) played catch in the outfield ahead of Game 6 of the NLCS on Saturday, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The right-hander was scratched from Saturday's start due to arm fatigue, and Walker Buehler will take his place on the mound. It's not yet clear whether Scherzer will be available out of the bullpen Saturday or whether he's an option to start a potential Game 7 on Sunday.
