Failed drug test to cost Josh Sale 50 games

Rays outfielder prospect Josh Sale was hit with a 50-game suspension for a second positive test for a drug of abuse, the team announced Tuesday.

Sale, who missed all of the 2013 season due to a suspension, was hitting .238/.313/.344 in 323 at-bats for Class A Charlotte.
