Slater went 1-for-1 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to Atlanta.

Slater entered the game as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning, but he was stranded on second base after a single and a steal. He then remained in the contest as the center fielder. The outfielder is slashing .250/.375/.435 with four home runs, three steals, 15 RBI and 18 runs scored across 112 plate appearances this year, and he may see a little extra playing time for the near future with Luis Gonzalez (back) heading to the injured list Thursday.
