Robertson was recalled by the Giants on Tuesday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Robertson was recently acquired by the Giants after being designated for assignment by the Rays, and he'll join the major-league club to serve as utility depth. He appeared at second base, third base and shortstop in Tampa Bay last season.
