The Giants optioned Robertson to their alternate training site Monday.

San Francisco designated Robertson as its 29th man for Sunday's doubleheader with the Padres, but he didn't see any use off the bench in either contest. He'll now head back to the alternate site in Sacramento as the Giants reduce their roster to 28 ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Seattle.
