Cueto (forearm) was activated from the disabled list Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
It was announced earlier this week that Cueto would come off the disabled list and start Friday's game against the Cardinals, and this confirms he will do just that. Cueto has posted a sub-par 4.59 ERA and 1.40 WHIP through 19 starts this season, but he will get the opportunity to return against a St. Louis squad he has had a lot of success against over the last few years.
