Williamson (quadriceps) was held out of action this weekend after his quad tightened up, CSN Bay Area reports.

The injury isn't considered serious, and the slugging outfielder was able to participate in batting practice Sunday. The timing of the injury is concerning for Williamson, as any loss in playing time sets him back in the competition for the Giants' starting left field job. Jarrett Parker (.316, four homers and 12 RBI) is still the favorite to win the job out of camp, which could land Williamson in the minors to start the season.
