Williamson is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Williamson had started all but one game since returning from the disabled list May 25, but will take a seat Friday. Hunter Pence will start in left field and bat seventh and Stephen Strasburg and the Nationals.
