Giants sign INF Everth Cabrera to minor-league deal

The Giants have signed infielder Everth Cabrera to a minor-leage deal, CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman reports. 

Cabrera was released by the Orioles in the middle of June after batting .208 in 96 at-bats. The former All-Star also spent time on the disabled list this season with a foot injury.
