Miller (knee) is expected to be activated from the DL on Thursday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
With a couple successful simulated games in the books, Miller is now ready to return, although pitching coach Mickey Callaway suggested the lefty will see "limited game action" during the Royals series. The Indians won't push their luck with Miller as he will be an important part of their postseason run. He made just two appearances upon his initial return last month before aggravating the knee issue.
