Gose re-signed with Cleveland as a non-roster invitee Tuesday.

The 30-year-old former outfielder began his conversion to pitching back in 2017 but has yet to advance above Double-A. In 65.2 total minor-league innings, he owns a 4.39 ERA and 1.61 WHIP, with his 19.9 percent walk rate coming in far too high for him to be an effective weapon. Cleveland evidently still believes there's something there, however, as he's set to spend his third straight year with the organization.
