Indians' Brandon Guyer: Dealing with wrist injury
Guyer aggravated a wrist injury that forced him to miss six weeks earlier this season and will be shut down for the next week, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
Guyer's condition will be re-evaluated following a week of no baseball activities, and the club will determine what the next step will be for the 31-year-old. There hasn't been any word on the severity of this setback, but there should be more news pertaining to Guyer's status within the next few days, if not by the end of the next week once he's been examined. The outfielder was out from mid-May until June 26 with a left wrist sprain earlier this year.
